P3DM for self-determination and cultural survival: Ancestral domains claims in the Philippines

1:5,000-scale model of the Ayta Ancestral Domain (R03-CADC-042) located in Cabangan, Zambales, Philippines (Yr 1999).

The  model covers an area of 107 km2 including the ancestral domain (62.03 km2). The  model has been instrumental - among others - to gather evidence supporting ownership of the ancestral domain, resolve boundary conflicts, delineate boundaries, file applications and prepare the Ancestral Domain Management Plan.

Method:  PGIS including P3DM, GPS and GIS

1:5000 scale model of one Aeta Ancestral Domain

Model produced by Ayta People in the Philippines with the assistance of the Philippine Association for Inter-Cultural Development (PAFID).
