1:5,000 scale model of the
Municipality of Balbalan, Kalinga, Philippines.
Yr. 2000 - 2002The model, representing a total area of
approx. 700 sq. km, has been used for renewing peace pacts (bodong)
between seven ethno-linguistic groups disputing the outlining of
administrative boundaries. Eighteen boundary conflicts have
been solved over a period of 16 months.
Method: Consensual negotiations making use of
P3DM, GIS and GPS.
