 1:5,000 scale model of the
Municipality of Lagawe, Ifugao Province, Philippines.
Yr. 2002 - 2003The model, representing a total area of
approx. 470 sq. km, has been used for renewing peace pacts (bodong)
between ethno-linguistic groups disputing the outlining of
administrative boundaries.
Method: Consensual negotiations supported by
Participatory GIS (PGIS) applications including
P3DM,
GPS and GIS.

Integrated Conflict
Resolution and Management Programme (ICRMP) in the
Cordillera. The Project is supported by the
Office of
the Presidential Advisor on the Peace Process (OPAPP) and
is implemented by Local Government Units with the support of
NGOs including PAFID. |
