P3DM for Participatory Land Use Planning (PLUP) in Thailand

 

1:12,500 scale model of the Nam Yao Village Watershed Network including seven villages (approx. 200 sq. km). Upper Nan Watershed, Nan Province, Thailand. The model has been used for planning community-fire management. Yr. 1999

Method: P3DM, GPS and GIS.

Planning a community-fire management strategy at watershed level by the use of a relief model.

1:10,000 scale model of one village located within the Upper Nan Watershed, Nan Province, Thailand.
The model is used for land use planning and village boundaries. Yr. 1997.
