Management Maps of the Ancestral Domain of the Tagbanwa People in
the Island of Caluit, Northern Palawan. The Island was declared
as a Game and Wildlife Refuge by the former dictator of the Philippines,
Pres. Marcos to accommodate the entry of exotic African savannah
animals. Habitation in the island has been declared illegal and
the Indigenous Peoples have been declared as Squatters. A formal
claim for Ancestral Domains has been filed by the people. Data in
the maps were generated from a 3D-model constructed by the Tagbanwa
People with the help of the PAFID. Current
