Can I still register?

No sorry, registrations have been closed on August 26, 2005. You can follow the conference activities via the daily digests.

How do I obtain financial support?

Did you submit an abstract to the Conference Organizing Committee? Was this abstract accepted either as a paper or as a poster presentation? You should know that an accepted paper or poster is frequently a pre-requisite for obtaining financial support from development institutions or professional organisations. Your employer may also be more incline to support you if you can present a letter of acceptance.

How much does it cost ?

Here are some pointers for preparing your budget:

  • Registration fee ($200 or Euro 160)

  • Board & lodging: The conference organisers have negotiated a special rate with KCCT. A package including breakfast, lunch, dinner and accommodation at KCCT cost $ 45 or Euro 36 per day. The cost should be computed based on the number of nights you will spent at KCCT.

  • Cost of transport: ask you travel agency. Your destination would be Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International airport (JKIA). Note: For those coming from the East, Emirates Airlines offers excellent fares.

  • Per diem or DSA will depend on the rules and regulations of your organisation or on those of the eventual sponsor.

  • Airport taxes: These may be included in the cost of air ticket. Otherwise count on an equivalent of USD 15.

  • Transit expenses. Include these if you have to spend overnights in transit airports.

How do I register, pay registration fees including board and lodging?

Registration fee and board & lodging have to be paid in advance to ITC using the registration form
