Additional Guidelines for Presenters

Dear Conference participant,

In addition to the paper and poster guidelines provided on the conference website we would like to give you some additional information on the submission of your contribution.

We will prepare a pre-conference CD containing all papers and posters which all participants will receive at the start of the conference. For this we would like to ask you to submit your paper or poster to pgis2005@itc.nl before 22 August 2005 in the following way:

Papers:

Please submit your paper in MS-Word (.doc) format following the given guidelines. If you include any figures or pictures in your paper please attach them (also) as separate files bearing the same file name as the paper (e.g. yourpaper.doc; yourpaper01.jpg; yourpaper02.jpg). Please keep the file size of your figures and pictures below 150 Kb.

If you submit multiple files please compress them in one (zip) file if possible.

Posters:

Please submit your posters in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. If you do not have a PDF-writer you can download one from http://www.pdf995.com. If you are making a poster from a paper you can also submit this paper according to the above paper guidelines.

If you are unable to submit a finalized version of the poster you can also submit a look-a-like version in ms-word (doc) format. When submitting as an "ms-word file", please attach any figures or pictures as separate files bearing the same file name as the poster (e.g. yourposter.doc; yourposter01.jpg; yourposter02.jpg). Please keep the file size of your figures and pictures below 150 Kb.

If you submit multiple files please compress them in one (zip) file if possible.

For the conference we will also provide hardcopies of all paper abstracts for all participants. We will not print copies of full papers for distribution. If you wish to distribute your paper to the audience kindly provide your own copies.
