How to geo-reference mental maps
This page was last updated on June 29, 2010
To reproduce quantitative and qualitative spatially-accurate data based on community knowledge through a participatory 3D modeling process you need a number of tools apart from the base map, coding means and ad hoc selected corrugated carton board or EVA / PE sheets.
These include the following:
Caliper, scaled ruler, compass, quick reference guide, directional North arrow, steel tape meter, plumb line and a series of numbers and letters.
