Collaborative geoweb 2.0 project launched to develop a highly specialized custom search engine reflecting knowledge and interests in PGIS - PPGIS practice and science. Researchers and practitioners are invited to contribute.

 Physical and virtual 3-D maps, coupled with strong advocacy and an enabling regulatory environment, are instrumental to indigenous peoples in the Philippines for gaining recognition of ancestral lands. Without control over their land, cultural survival is far less viable, if not impossible. New case study posted on 14 December 04.
