P3DM for self-determination and cultural survival: Ancestral domains claims in the Philippines
1:5,000-scale model of the Ayta Ancestral Domain (R03-CADC-042) located in Cabangan, Zambales, Philippines (Yr 1999). the 3D model has been produced in 1999 by Ayta People in the Philippines with the assistance of the Philippine Association for Inter-Cultural Development (PAFID).
The model covers an area of 107 km2 including the ancestral domain (62.03 km2). The model has been instrumental – among others – to gather evidence supporting ownership of the ancestral domain, resolve boundary conflicts, delineate boundaries, file applications and prepare the Ancestral Domain Management Plan.
